PADL is your continually updated, Painting Support Library—designed to guide you through every stage of a painting.

PADL helps you learn how to think like a painter—so you can see more clearly and make confident decisions, paint with intention, learn from every painting and repeat strong thinking patterns until they become intuitive.

Think of PADL like a studio space made up of different rooms.

Each room helps you solve one specific part of the painting process, so you can move forward with clarity, confidence, and intention.

PADL uses AI to reflect Kathleen Broaderick's teaching voice and method—so you can get her personalized guidance exactly whenever you need it.

How PADL Works

  • Click a tool from the PADL menu
  • Follow the prompts
  • Come back anytime—these rooms are here whenever you need them
  • Returning to a Previous Chat

You don’t need to start over each time you paint.

How to Return to a Past PADL Conversation

    1. Open ChatGPT.

    2. Look to the left-hand sidebar and scroll down to Your Chats.

    3. This list shows all your conversations with ChatGPT — both PADL and non-PADL ones.

    4. ChatGPT names these automatically, so they may not look familiar at first.

    5. When you find the conversation you want, click it.

    6. You can pick up right where you left off — or continue by:

      • sharing new thoughts

      • uploading a new photo of your painting

      • asking for the next step

    Helpful Tip (Highly Recommended)

To make conversations easy to find later:

    • Right after you finish a PADL session, go to Your Chats

    • Click the three dots (⋯) next to the conversation

    • Choose Rename

    • Give it a clear name, like the painting title or PADL tool you used

This makes it simple to return to that painting anytime without starting over.

You don’t need to “do anything special” to save a conversation.
ChatGPT automatically keeps your chats — renaming just helps you stay organized.
