I didn't go to art school. I went to elementary school. Twice.

Once when I was a kid, and again in my late forties — teaching kids grades K through 5.

That's when my own painting finally started to click.

I wrote The Artist's Virtues about everything that happened in between. The audiobook is free, and I read it myself — about 48 minutes, with a few stories that never made it into the print book.
