Bud

If you are a Bud, you’ve got it in you. It shows. You feel it. It's that tingling of the senses when you can't wait to get to a painting you've got in your head. Maybe you have dreamed of the painting. You feel like an artist. You've had ah-ha moments of enlightenment about your painting process. You continue to practice your craft often, striving for improvement. You may have been asked to teach your craft. You are selling your art. You can sometimes get in a flow state while painting where time stops and you know nothing but the art you are making.

Next steps:

• Practice. Practice. Practice. You will find success when the time is right but not before preparation.
• Learn, learn, learn.  Discover the joy of being a continuous learner.
• Consider sharing more. It is through teaching we learn and grow.
• Look at the world around you through your artist's eyes. Find line, shape, color, space, value, texture and form everyday.
• Continue to refine your painting process. What works? What doesn’t?
